At Westfield, we absolutely love Sports Day! It’s a special event where all our children, from Nursery through to Year 6, come together to enjoy a fantastic range of activities designed to get everyone moving and having fun.

Our field features two tracks—a 200-metre and a 60-metre track—that our pupils really enjoy racing on. Events include 3-lap, 2-lap, and 1-lap races, as well as exciting relay races that encourage teamwork and school spirit. On the sprint track, children take part in hurdles, obstacle courses, sack races, and egg-and-spoon races, all designed to challenge their agility and coordination.

One of the highlights is the parent race, where mums, dads, and carers join in the fun, cheering on the children and sharing in the excitement.

We warmly invite all parents to come along, cheer on the children, and be part of this wonderful day of community and celebration.

Sports Day 2026 will take place in the week beginning 18th May 2026. Fingers crossed for sunshine and great weather!
