Assemblies
Every day at 8:55am, the whole school community at Westfield comes together for a daily assembly, setting a positive tone for the day ahead.
- Monday: We engage with Picture News, exploring current events and focusing on British Values/Protected characteristics to help our pupils understand and appreciate the principles that underpin our society.
- Tuesday: We learn about important events happening locally, nationally and globally, broadening pupils’ awareness of the world around them.
- Wednesday: Our singing assembly brings joy and energy as pupils come together to sing and develop their musical skills.
- Thursday: We focus on curriculum links, reinforcing key learning themes and connecting assembly content to what pupils are studying in class.
- Friday: We celebrate success, recognising achievements and efforts from across the school during the week.
These assemblies help build a strong sense of community, support pupils’ personal development and enrich their learning experience.
