Haverhill schools across the Unity Schools Partnership took part in a host of World Book Day activities last week.

Primary school children got in on the literacy fun with local author Carl Mynott visiting Westfield Primary Academy and giving rhyming dictionary and illustration workshops.

The schools were also visited by reading ambassadors from Samuel Ward Academy who read stories to more than 150 children from foundation stage to Year 3.
