The academy office is open Monday to Friday in term time 8.45 am - 3.30 pm

ADMISSION TO WESTFIELD

If you are interested in applying for a place in Reception in September at Westfield, please apply through Suffolk's application portal at www.suffolk.gov.uk/children-families-and-learning/schools/school-places/.

There you will also find our current admissions policy for applying for a place 'in-year' to any of our year groups.

CHILD ABSENCES

If your child is unable to attend Westfield, please ensure you contact the academy office by calling 01440 761697 or by using the Parentmail App.

 

School Uniform

All of our children are expected to wear the Westfield uniform.  School uniform can be bought online from Brigade at:  www.brigadeuniformdirect.uk.com

We also have a very small selection in stock which you can purchase through Parentpay.

Just a reminder that our uniform is:

  • Grey skirt or trousers
  • White or pale blue polo or shirt/blouse
  • Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan, preferably with the Westfield Academy logo
  • Plain black shoes (plimsolls, pumps or shoes are suitable)
  • For Summer: blue & white dresses; tailored grey shorts.
  • PE: plain black shorts and a tee-shirt in house colour, plain dark joggers can be brought in for cold days.

Also available are fleeces, showerproof coats and a selection of bags.

Don’t forget to clearly name everything - we collect lots of un-named lost property!

Have you completed a form? .......

Pupil Premium Grant

To ensure that we receive our full entitlement for this grant - please register for Pupil Premimum/Free School Meals (see attached form).

It is important that all eligible pupils are counted, so even if your child does not have school meals, or if they are entitled to Universal Free School Meals (i.e Green and Blue Areas) it is vital that you still complete the form.

You will also be entitled to ask for funding support for school trips and music tuition, etc.
